Meditation in the Workplace
There has never been more heightened awareness of the need for balance, harmony, tension and stress release in our lifestyles than right now. Many of us are spending increased hours in the workplace, often sacrificing valuable time with our families and friends in an attempt to meet ever-increasing work demands and schedules.
In both private practice and when engaging in on-site consultancy, we work alongside many corporate leaders and their team members, providing guidance and strategies for keeping the connection with themselves, their loved ones and their work colleagues alive and strong. Building and maintaining relationships where they can communicate and connect openly, honestly and compassionately, not taking out frustrations due to pressure on others. To achieve this, we share a wide range of fun, psychologically and spiritually 'healthy' tools to release stress and fatigue from the mind, body and soul.
One fun and active way to achieve this is via meditation - in particluar Kundalini active meditation.
Kundalini active meditation
This fun and energetic group meditation is a wonderful hour of self-knowing and stress release for both novice and experienced meditators. Based on Osho's meditation philosophy, this Kundalini active meditation is designed to release unexpressed emotions that we have allowed to build up during our busy and at times stressful lives. The goal is to let go of the tensions that block the natural flow of energies in our bodies, allowing us to be free, finding balance and bliss.
The meditation is broken into four distinct segments, each lasting 15 minutes and each sharpening our skills of focused attention and intention. In stage one the focus is on shaking it - shaking out negative emotions and sensations. Stage two becomes vigorous - dancing, jumping, spinning, running. Stage three moves into silence and stillness - standing, focusing on sensations as they arise. Stage four is also about devout attention on stillness and quiet returning to the breath in lying position.
In the words of Osho:
'When I say shake it, I mean your solidarity, your rock-like being, should shake to the very foundations, so it becomes liquid, fluid, melts, flows'
We invite you to share in this delightful experience with your work colleagues, team mates and peers - there is nothing quite so powerful as collective consciousness in meditation, so embrace this in your workplace and experience it for yourself. It is also a very successful team building and bonding activity.
We come to you - session times are flexible to suit your business requirements. All participants will need to bring a towel and wear loose, comfortable clothing.
